The West Group has the certification of the DPC – Department of Ports and Coasts/ Brazilian Navy, for the course of CBSP (Security in Platform Basic Course), and also for the course of GMDSS – Maritime Safety and Aid Global System. Both courses, recognized in the entire world, are also accepted by Petrobras and certified by the Panamanian Maritime Authority.
The West Group is associated with NFPA – National Fire Protection Association, a world authority on fire prevention, fire fighting and procedures for work with high risk.

Complementary Course for hoisting equipment operator - NR 34
Train and train operators of hoisting equipment for cargo handling maneuvers in accordance with regulatory standards and procedures required.
This professional may work in the oil and gas, food, beverages, timber, civil construction, metallurgy, mineral extraction, companies that manufacture chemicals among others.
The course is targeted at professional workers handling charges.
The student will have to take the basic course security of cargo, elementary education. Candidates for training should be in minimum conditions of physical, attested by medical examination or equivalent to be considered fit to perform the exercises and simulations provided in the course.
Theoretical analysis, practical exercises and application of procedures in practice.
This course has a minimum workload (20 hours).
The recommended course is valid for 2 years.
